CAA Part 102 Certified

As part of the Southern Drone Solutions Group, Aorangi Aerials operates under a CAA Part 102 Unmanned Aircraft Operator Certificate - ensuring our operations meet the highest safety and regulatory standards in New Zealand.

Our pilots are Part 102 Certified and extensively trained in Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rules and regulations. This certification allows us to legally and safely undertake advanced operations that go beyond standard drone use, including:

Night operations
Flights near aerodromes
Special permissions for complex or sensitive airspace

With these privileges, we can offer flexible and compliant drone services in situations where others may be restricted - giving you the confidence that your project is in experienced, fully authorised hands.
